HAILEY, Idaho (AP) - Officials in the central Idaho city of Hailey are calling for a meeting of fire departments and emergency medical service agencies in the southern portion of Blaine County.
Hailey Mayor Rick Davis says the meeting could help find out if various jurisdictions would support an independent study.
Hailey officials want Wood River Fire and Rescue, the Blaine County Ambulance District and the cities of Hailey, Bellevue and Carey to help pay for the study.
If the meeting is held it could be a first step in consolidating some services to save money.
