BAGGS, Wyo. (AP) - A 22-year-old man drowned in the Little Robbers Gulch Reservoir in Carbon County over the weekend.

Authorities say Riley Weber, of Baggs, was at the reservoir with three friends Saturday when he attempted to hydroplane his snowmobile across the water.

His machine began to sink and he attempted to swim to shore but subsequently drowned.

The Carbon County Sheriff's Office received the call at about 1 p.m. Saturday.

Searchers recovered Weber's body Sunday morning about 30 feet from the shoreline.
