FREMONT COUNTY - A Teton woman is stable after a car accident in Fremont County Monday night.

The Fremont County Sheriff's Office says a Rexburg man driving a 2002 Hyandai Sante Fe didn't stop at the intersection of 2400 East (Teton Road) and 300 North.  He hit a 1995 Ford Taurus.  The driver, Becky Birch of Teton, was ejected from her car and seriously hurt.

Saint Anthony dispatched an ambulance and took her to Madison Memorial Hospital where she's listed in stable condition in the Emergency Room.

The driver of the Sante Fe was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.
