BLACKFOOT - More than 700 fifth graders played the day away, as a celebration of their D.A.R.E. graduation.
The graduates came from Bingham County, Blackfoot, Firth, Shelley, Aberdeen, and Snake River.
D.A.R.E. Day helped to show the kids that they're not alone in their fight against drugs and violence.
The fun activities and games reinforced the truth that drugs are not needed to have fun.
The D.A.R.E. program is a huge success within the community.
Kids not only had a blast on Tuesday, but came away learning quite a bit.
"To stay alcohol free and say no to drugs. Doing drugs and alcohol can totally ruin your life," said D.A.R.E. graduate, Karissa.
The D.A.R.E. program is always in need of donations. You can make a donation to the program by contacting your local county sheriff's office.
