3 dead in 2 Goshen County vehicle crashes

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) - Three men are dead in two separate vehicle accidents in Goshen County over the weekend.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol reports that 49-year-old Walter L. Elmore of Ft. Laramie died after the 1968 Chevrolet Impala he was driving went off the road within the town of Ft. Laramie at about 3 a.m. Saturday and hit a telephone pole.

In the second accident, 18-year-old Kolten J. Aberle of Torrington and 21-year-old James A. Scheer of Torrington died after the 1999 Chevrolet Suburban that Aberle was driving rolled over about 5 miles northwest of Torrington at about 3:30 a.m. Saturday. Two other passengers were ejected from the Suburban and taken to area hospitals.
