POCATELLO - A Blackfoot man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old male last week in Pocatello.

The stabbing happened on the 700 block of McKinley Avenue Wednesday, June 17, around 10 p.m. After their investigation, police said they positively identified the suspect as David Aguirre, 28.

He was arrested Monday afternoon with the help from his probation and parole officer and was taken into custody without incident. His charges are still being determined by the Bannock County Prosecutor.

The victim is recovering from his wounds.
