ONEIDA COUNTY - The Oneida County Hospital in Malad is reporting a mild case of the swine flu.

According to Colleen Montgomery, LPN and Infection Control Nurse, there are also a few other suspected cases in the county.

Montgomery says the cases did not require hospitalization and the people have been quarantined.

If you experience flu-like symptoms like coughing, sneezing, vomiting and/or diarrhea, stay home.  If you also have a high fever, respiratory problems and muscle aches, see your doctor.

To avoid the swine flu make sure to cover your coughs or sneezes, wash your hands frequently and avoid people who are coughing or sneezing.
