EASTERN IDAHO - Dark clouds rolled through the Arco Desert and slide to Idaho Falls, Lewisville, Osgood and Ucon Friday afternoon dumping rain and even hail at the height of the storm's strength.

The clouds eventually began to turn toward Rexburg, Ashton and Island Park. However, big rain made its way past Blackfoot and Eastern Bonneville County.

One viewer sent us cell phone video of the storm was they traveled from Boise to Idaho Falls on Highway 20 near Arco. The storm was so loud, their kids had to cover their ears.

The National Weather Service in Pocatello was concerned with the power of the storm. As with any storm of this magnitude, they advise people to find shelter and find a sturdy structure. The most crucial action you should take is stay away from windows.
