HULETT, Wyo. (AP) - An electrical problem temporarily shut down the town of Hulett's water well, prompting calls for residents to cut back on water use.
Hulett emergency manager Sam Waugh (WAH) said Monday that the well's pump failed sometime overnight Sunday and was fixed Monday afternoon.
Waugh says a storm with lightning is suspected of knocking out the pump.
Residents and businesses of the town in northeast Wyoming were asked to conserve water during the outage.
