Idaho 33 Improvements South of Driggs Start Wednesday

RIGBY - An Idaho Transportation Department project to improve Idaho 33 south of Driggs starts Wednesday (Aug. 5).

Crews will construct turn lanes along Idaho 33 at its intersection with 300 S. (Darby Canyon Road)in Teton County. The project will include realigning Darby and Dick creeks to accommodate road widening.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane and the speed limit will be reduced to 35 mph in the construction zone. Motorists can expect delays of up to 15 minutes during daytime hours.

Work will take place Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Drivers should watch for construction workers and equipment.

The project is expected to be completed by September.
