GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) - The Campbell County Commission is scheduled Tuesday to choose 1 of 3 candidates to finish the term of state Rep. Erin Mercer.

Mercer resigned Aug. 12 after deciding to move to Buffalo.

Campbell County Republicans have chosen three candidates to replace Mercer in the Wyoming House. They are 63-year-old Vicki Swenson, a teacher for 32 years; 59-year-old Gregg Blikre, a member of the Campbell County school board; and 60-year-old Michael Ryan, owner of a trash-hauling company.

A fourth candidate, 34-year-old construction worker Chris Smith, didn't get enough votes for his name to be submitted to the County Commission.
