IDAHO FALLS - Twenty Idaho Falls firefighters brushed up on their skills to rescue you just in case of a major disaster this week.
Melaleuca gave the Idaho Collapse and Rescue Team Three free reign on a downtown building slated to become a parking lot.
The team broke through walls, built up others and rescued training dummies.
Trainers say this is a rare experience they are lucky to have.
"We are exercising specifically our ability to go into a structure that's been damaged by earthquake or some other event and make that building safe for search and rescue operations," said Idaho Falls Fire Department Division Chief John Walker."
All the training was paid for by the Department of Homeland Security.
The team responds to incidents from Salmon to Malad and even crosses the border into western Wyoming.
