RIRIE - A woman was badly burned in a trailer home fire late Thursday morning in Ririe.

The Central Fire District chief said Gloria Coronado received extensive burns on her face, arms, hands and back. Emergency responders treated her and then transported her to Eastern Idaho Regional Center.

The fire happened on Maple Lane around 11 a.m. A caller said a trailer was fully engulfed with flames but no one was inside. They also reported that Coronado was burned.

Both Ririe and Rigby fire crews responded. When they arrived, they saw the fire was threatening a nearby trailer.

They quickly worked to protect the other home. It received damage to the vinyl siding and windows.

Coronado's trailer, which was valued around $4,000, was a total loss. She also lost about $10,000 in belongings. The neighboring trailer had about $3,000 in damage.

Investigators have not determined what caused the fire.
