ATV Accident in Oneida County Claims Life of Rockland Man

ONEIDA COUNTY - An ATV accident in Oneida County claims the life of a Rockland man.

It happened on Sunday around 5 pm on Highway 37 at Milepost 25 near Roy Summit, which is south of the Twin Springs camp area.

Deputies believe Matthew Patrick Kelly got on a steep hill side and hit some rocks which caused the ATV to roll and Kelly wasn't wearing a helmet.

Kelly was pronounced dead when the Oneida County Sheriff's Office arrived.
