POWER COUNTY - A Rockland man arrested in August is going to trial for resisting arrest.  He says Power County deputies used excessive force during a traffic stop.  Power County Sheriff Jim Jefferies says there is video of that arrest.

He adds that none of his deputies have been suspended and none of them are under investigation by other agencies.

Michael Paul Lindsey II, 22, is charged with failing to stop at a stop sign and resisting and obstructing officers.  Sheriff Jefferies says on August 26th, Lindsey was stopped after passing multiple signs in American Falls warning of officers ahead and signs saying to prepare to stop.

Lindsey will have a jury trial November 4th for the resisting and obstructing charges.
