ARCHER - The coming of autumn means the temperatures drop, the leaves change colors, and festive attractions start popping up all over the area.
In Archer, two BYU-Idaho students have, once again, built a new straw maze to commemorate the fall season.
Mitchell Stoker and Derek Jones started the maze last year as a project for one of their business classes.
The venture was so successful that they decided to do it again, this time in a different location.
The new maze is located near Big Jud's restaurant.
Stoker and Jones say the new maze is bigger and more complicated than last year.
The project also serves as a chance to incorporate BYU-Idaho students and staff into the project.
"Our major is business, and with the economy, we wanted to start a business where we could hire BYU-Idaho students to come out here and work, and we're also trying to work with Big Jud's to get them some more business as well," said Mitchell Stoker.
The Straw Maze will be open throughout the month of October.
