ROCK SPRINGS, Wyo. (AP) - Heavy snow earlier this week collapsed a large, clear-span tent at the Sweetwater Events Complex in Rock Springs.

The National Weather Service says the snowstorm dumped up to 8 inches of snow in parts of Sweetwater County.

Sweetwater Events Complex executive director Larry Lloyd says the entire tent structure appears to need to be replaced and should cost more than $100,000.

Events Complex officials are working with the manufacturer and insurance company to get an accurate cost on replacement or repair and plan to have a new tent in place before the 2010 county fair.
