The sell of an empty co-op lot could bring a new walk-in clinic to Rexburg.
Madison County recently accepted a bid from an Idaho Falls development company for the purchase of the lot on the corner of East Main St. and North 1st East.
According to County Commissioner Bob Hansen, Morgan Development plans to build a two story facility on the property.
The facility would house a walk-in clinic downstairs, and possibly restaurant businesses upstairs.
Madison County made $280,000 off the sale and plans on setting the money aside for future projects.
