BURLEY, Idaho (AP) - A south-central Idaho man faces charges after police say they found more than 2,000 pornographic pictures of children on his computer.
Joel Riece Vore was charged Monday in 5th District Court with one count of using a child in sexually exploitive material or possession of the material, one count of sexual exploitation of a child and two counts of enhancement for being a persistent violator.
The Times-News reports that the 52-year-old Vore has pleaded not guilty.
Cassia County Prosecutor Al Barrus says some of the images are of children victimized by former Burley resident Leslie Peter Bowcut.
Bowcut was sentenced to 30 years in prison after pleading guilty in 2002 to 14 counts of lewd and lascivious conduct. Prosecutors said he took pornographic pictures of girls as young as 2 and traded them on the Internet.
