EASTERN IDAHO - Flu vaccines will be administered by the Eastern Idaho and Southeastern Public Health Districts.
The H1N1 flu vaccine will be provided for free at the clinics, but will be targeted to those at the highest risk of complications from the H1N1 flu. They include:
- Pregnant women (EIPHD will be providing the H1N1 vaccine to Obstetricians in the district so they may vaccinate their pregnant clients)
- Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age
- Healthcare and emergency medical services personnel
- All people from 6 months to 18 years of age
- Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of complications from the flu.
These primary groups can change, so please call your health district or visit their websites.
Note: All vaccination clinic dates and times are subject to vaccine availability. Furthermore, there is limited vaccine available for each clinic. Vaccinations will be given on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
