Voters Approve Bond for New School in Jefferson County

JEFFERSON COUNTY - Voters approved a $45 million bond proposal for Jefferson County School District #251.

The money will go to build a new high school and to improve other district schools. Voters approved the bond with 73.1 percent (1,745 votes).

The school board and administration will start work immediately, selecting a design firm and gathering public input for the high school's plans.
