IDAHO DALLS - 2,300 people are without power in Idaho Falls.  An Idaho Falls Power dispatcher says the problem started at about 8:50 a.m. Sunday morning when a breaker at the Hatch substation locked open, setting about the outage.

The power company is working on the isssue, but power will not be fully restored until 1:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

The 2,300 affected customers live in the area east of Woodruff from 2nd Street to 25th Street.

If you lose power, first check your breakers, both inside and out. Then call your power companies outage number.
