POCATELLO - Saturday morning quite a few decided to start a new Halloween tradition. Braving the chilly temperatures, many put on their running shoes and costumes.
It was all to take part in the Halloween Spooktacular Fun Run/Walk at the Southeastern District Health Department.
It was all for Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run is a learning program for girls ages 8 to 14. Ggoals of the program are to encourage positive, emotional, social mental character and physical development.
All the money raised from Saturday's race goes toward Girls on the Run scholarships. The race was a 5K Fun Run/Walk that started and finished at the Southeastern District Health Department on Alvin Ricken Drive in Pocatello.
