POCATELLO - A family's shed and chicken coop in Pocatello is now a complete loss after a fire started just after 2 p.m. Saturday at 1969 Grandview Avenue.

Several fire engines from the Pocatello Fire Department responded and had the fire under control before starting to knock down the shed to make sure the fire was completely out.

A woman who lives at the house says that the fire might have started from an electrical problem because they have an electrical well near the shed.

The flames started near the shed and spread to the chicken coop.  Several chickens died in the blaze but everyone from inside the home is safe.

The fire is still under investigation.
