IDAHO FALLS - City clerks are expecting fewer people to show up at the polls Tuesday.
Despite last year's record breaking numbers for the presidential election, the city elections aren't expected to draw a big crowd.
Idaho Falls City Clerk Rose Anderson said she can tell when voter turnout is going to be low by the number of absentee ballots coming in before the election.
This year she says she is seeing fewer envelopes come through the office with ballots inside from people who will be out of town tomorrow.
