SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Some Utah health departments are making appointments and passing out tickets to try to reduce lines and wait times for getting the swine flu vaccine.
The Salt Lake Valley Health Department says it will take appointments starting Tuesday morning for H1N1 vaccination clinics. The clinics are planned Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at four locations. Those eligible to receive the vaccine can make appointments either online or by phone.
The Davis County Health Department is handing out tickets for its mass swine flu vaccination clinic on Tuesday.
The health department planned to pass out more than half the tickets on a first-come, first-served basis on Monday night to people eligible for the vaccine.
The department planned to pass out the rest of the tickets at its Tuesday clinic until they are gone.
