INKOM - Just last month, 8-month-old Skyelar Jo Edmonds was diagnosed with cancer in the lymph nodes commonly known as t-cell lymphoma. Skyelar has already had to undergo one surgery to remove the numerous tomors. Skylar now has to begin treatment at Primary Children's in Salt Lake Ciy, Utah and possibly at a specialized oncology center in Texas. Skyelar's family is holding a fundraiser dinner and silent auction Friday night to help Skyelar and her family.

Skyelar's family says her cancer has spread to her lymph nodes, but not to her bones which is good, but the end prognosis is still not great. As a result of Skyelar's disease, the family is needing some assistance from the community.

On Friday, November 6th, there will be a fund-raiser spaghetti dinner and a silent auction at the Inkom Elementary School at 300 Holstein Street in Inkom. The dinner will be held from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and will include spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and dessert.
