A big race happened in Ammon with 13 people vying for seats on the city council.
But some are worried not everyone who wanted to vote had a chance.
Some frustrated Ammon voters believe the polling places weren't advertised enough and they say they couldn't figure out where to vote.
Many came to Tiebreaker Elementary because this is where they usually cast their vote. This year, there was a little frustration as many folks got there and there wasn't anywhere to cast their ballot.
Some voters in Ammon like Marcy Curr went to Tiebreaker Elementary to vote.
But with two kids she had little time to get in and cast her ballot and get out.
"I think a lot of people are like us and we had a very small window of time where we could go to the polls and vote. We kind our plan our whole day around when we're going to vote," said Ammon resident Marcy Curr.
Because this year is a city election not a county election, Ammon combined two of their precincts leaving some voters behind.
Many believe this is a crucial election and they don't want to miss their opportunity for their voice to be heard.
"Our city government is the closest government we have, it's the government that makes the decisions that affects our lives and to make it more difficult to participate and for some people impossible to participate, it doesn't seem fair, it doesn't seem right," Curr explained.
The City of Ammon didn't have the voting locations on their website which didn't sit well with voters.
Lots of confusion that is causing many people to want something done about it.
"It doesn't seem like they can call it a valid election, if we're not participating in it," said Curr.
