REXBURG - Donna Benfield, Christopher Mann and Bruce Sutherland have secured seats on the Rexburg City Council. Benfield received the highest number of votes. She received 1,543 votes which equaled 27 percent.

Mann was the only incumbent. The other two open seats were occupied by Bart Stevens and Randall Schwendiman.

Candidate Christopher West was a recent Brigham Young University-Idaho graduate. He came in fourth with 13 percent of the votes.

Both Benfield and Mann are planning to run for Mayor. Benfield is known for her work on the international dance festival and as the Executive Director at the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce.
