IDAHO FALLS - All the incumbents in Idaho Falls won their positions once again.
Mayor Jared Fuhriman dominated the race with 85 percent of votes.
"I think we're gonna kinda keep doing what we are doing," expressed Fuhriman. "We're going to keep focusing on the infrastructure. We're gonna keep attracting businesses in here. We're gonna keep that way of life, that quality of life that people thoroughly enjoy. We look forward to another good four years."
In the city council, Idaho Hardcastle retained her #4 seat while Karen Cornwell managed to hold onto her #6 seat by a close margin.
"I am very proud of the last four years," said Cornwell. "With Mayor Fuhriman and Ida and I, and the rest of the council. I think that we've done very well. We've done the best that we can with the economy and money, and those kinds of things. We've got a lot accomplished."
Cornwell receive 54 percent of the vote while Barbara Dee Ehardt received 3,483 votes, or 46 percent.
