REXBURG - City Councilman Richard Woodland will now be Mayor Woodland.  Councilmembers just voted him into office.

Five councilmembers, including Woodland, voted for Woodland.  Council President Chris Mann was the only one who voted for somebody else.  He voted for Donna Benfield.

Just a day before the appointment, voters went to the polls and gave Benfield their support for a city council seat.  Mann came in second in the voting.
