POCATELLO - A body was found near Cedar St. and Randolph Ave. in Pocatello. Police said the man had been admitted into the hospital Thursday night.
The 57-year-old man's wife told police her husband had been depressed and was at a bar Thursday.
The man was taken to the hospital for an unknown reason. There, he was uncooperative and did not allow staff to draw blood. Police reported the man called his wife around 6 p.m. saying he was walking home from the hospital.
Law enforcement later received a call around 8 p.m. of a man down about a block away from Alameda Park. Police are calling the case an unattended death.
According to law enforcement, the man was between one to two blocks away from his home when he decided to lay down. He eventually died at that spot.
