CHUBBUCK - A nearly 10 foot giraffe is turning heads in Chubbuck at the Pine Ridge Mall.

It stands nine feet, eight inches tall.  You can find it inside the Party Palace.  It was designed by Rhett Stephens.  Here is the catch, it's completely made out of legos.  Nearly 100,000 of them and no glue used at all.  That is why there is a fence around it.

Stephens worked on the project on and off for four months but in total it took around 300 hours to complete and he just finished it Friday morning.  He's hoping that his design will encourage others.

"For me one of the most important things is to just show somebody something they haven't seen before.  That's what I like.  And so, yes, it does make me feel good.  I really like it.  I like to be able to pass on that inspiration," said Stephens, who built the giraffe.

Party Palace plans to keep the giant giraffe up for years to come.  You can find it near their inside entrance to the mall court.
