REXBURG - There will be no class Tuesday for students at Madison High School in Rexburg. According to Rocky Mountain Power spokesman Jeff Hymas school is canceled because of a power outage.
The outage started Monday at 10:13 a.m. School was let out by 11 a.m. Hymas says one of two transformers required to power the school isn't working. Now Rocky Mountain Power and Madison School District #321 are working together to figure out the best way to fix the problem.
Hymas says the situation will be evaluated Tuesday afternoon to see whether there will be school on Wednesday.
