CHUBBUCK – A Pocatello woman died Monday night after police said she was run over by the vehicle she was driving.

Bobbie Killinger, 66, was visiting family on the 200 block of Henry St. in Chubbuck. She was backing out of the driveway when somehow she fell from the minivan and was run over.

Officers were called out around 8:30 p.m. When they arrived, the van’s door was open.

Killinger was taken to Portnuef Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.

No one else was in the car or saw what happened. The Chubbuck Police Department is investigating how the accident happened.

Police are waiting for the coroner to determine the exact cause of death.

 “Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Bobbie Killinger,” said the police department.
