IDAHO FALLS – With so many local families feeling dealing with hardships as a result from the recession, many area businesses have staked out a spot at Eastern Idaho Technical College to host a free resource fair.

The fair runs from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. today. The event is sponsored by the college, The Idaho Department of Labor, and the Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership.

There will be information booths including free workshops covering job hunting skills, negotiating with creditors, changing careers, employment resource for veterans, job search strategies, dressing for success on a budget, overcoming employment barriers, avoiding home foreclosure and saving energy.
