SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A spokeswoman for the Salt Lake City International Airport says travelers there are not facing additional delays due to an FAA computer glitch.
The Federal Aviation Administration says the problem started when a single circuit board in a piece of networking equipment at a computer center in Salt Lake City failed Thursday. The problem was fixed but caused widespread cancellations and delays.
But airport spokeswoman Barbara Gann says the Utah airport is operating normally and has been all morning. She says there were a handful of delays but that those were typical for the time of day.
Gann says all outbound flights have been leaving normally. She says the airport anticipated delays on inbound flights, but didn't see any.
She says such delays still may occur later in the day.
