INKOM - A man driving his car south along I-15 Friday afternoon is recovering after he lost control and rolled his car near the Port of Entry near Inkom.
The accident happened near mile marker 59 just before 4 p.m. A trooper with the Idaho State Police says the accident is still under investigation but it appears the man lost control of his car and drove off the right shoulder of the south bound lanes of I-15 rolling his car.
Rescue workers had to cut the top of the man's car off to rescue him from inside. Troopers say the car is registered to a Soda Springs address and the man was heading to Soda Springs as well.
The man was taken to Portneuf Medical Center with injuries but troopers say he was conscious and breathing and talking to rescue workers.
