LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - University of Wyoming trustees have approved tuition increases.
Tuition will go up from $94 per credit hour now to $99 next school year. Tuition then will increase to $104 in the 2011-2012 school year.
Nonresident undergraduate tuition also will go up under the increases approved Friday. Right now, nonresident tuition is $358 per credit hour. That will increase to $376 next year and $394 in 2011-2012.
Graduate tuition rates also are increasing. Resident graduate tuition will go up from $183 this year to $192 next year and $201 after that. Nonresident graduate tuition will increase from $523 to $549 next year and $575 after that.
University President Tom Buchanan says the increases will offset budget cuts.
