CHUBBUCK - Saturday in Chubbuck at the Bannock Animal Medical Center, four legged friends had a chance to get checked out for free.
It was all part of free comprehensive exams for puppies, kittens, cats and dogs. There were different stations set up for dental, food and then for younger animals.
Veterinarians checked out pets from head to toe and offered advice to pet owners on what to look for in the future with their animals.
"So that they have the tools to help their family pets live longer and be happier and just have a good quality of life. It's important to us because we want our clients to be happy and we want the pets to be happy," said Shannon Alarcon, Practice Manager for Bannock Animal Medical Center.
The Bannock Animal Medical Center also holds health fairs called geriatric January and geriatric June, held in January and June, for older pets.
