An illegal immigrant is sentenced for raping a girl prosecutors say he hired to babysit his three year old son.

Juan Cruz will spend 20 to 40 years in prison for having sex with a 13 year old girl.

Cruz is 30.

He was convicted by a jury in December.

The rape reportedly happened in Fort Hall and he was charged October 27, 2007.

Prosecutors say raping underaged girls is nothing new for Cruz.

They say his three year old son came out of a relationship he had with a 16 year old girl.

Cruz has been deported at least five times and he will be sent back to Mexico as soon as his prison term is up.

Cruz apologized to Judge Darren Simpson, saying he was sorry he was in court.

Cruz has never admitted his guilt.
