BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Classes start Monday in the Boise School District. But about 30 students in the district don't know what elementary school they'll be attending.
That's because the new Grace Jordan Elementary School - which is opening for the first time this year - is already overcrowded.
The school is designed to hold 550 students. District officials are contacting the parents of about 30 students to let them know about the overcrowding. Boise District spokesman Dan Hollar says there is room for the students at other schools, and the district will provide transportation for any students sent to a different school.
