Jeff Landers took over as sports director of the KIFI and KIDK news team in March 2011. He comes to Idaho from northeast Michigan, where he spent a year and a half as a sports anchor/reporter at WBKB-TV in Alpena. And no, he is not a Michigan Wolverines fan.
Originally from upstate New York, Jeff lives and dies with the Buffalo Bills (mostly a lot of dying in recent years) and New York Yankees.
He graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a degree in journalism/mass communications. He called play-by-play for the Bonnies women's basketball team for four years and still bleeds brown and white.
In his spare time, Jeff likes to play ice hockey, shoot pool or play golf, none of which he claims to be good at. But most of all, Jeff likes to relax with a little time in his recliner, watching almost any sport on TV, including curling.
