Jeff Landers took over as sports director of the KIFI and KIDK news team in March 2011. He comes to Idaho from northeast Michigan, where he spent a year and a half as a sports anchor/reporter at WBKB-TV in Alpena. And no, he is not a Michigan Wolverines fan.
Originally from upstate New York, Jeff lives and dies with the Buffalo Bills (mostly a lot of dying in recent years) and New York Yankees.
He graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 2009 with a degree in journalism and mass communications. He's a huge Bonnies basketball fan, and he loves March Madness when the Brown & White make it to the tournament.
Jeff met his wife, Kiersten, in Idaho Falls in 2011. They were married at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on December 31, 2013. Jeff and Kiersten have one daughter, Inga, who was born in August of 2015. In his rare spare time, Jeff likes to ski at Grand Targhee or Jackson Hole, play golf or shoot pool.
