Thursday night police officers pack the city council chambers asking for a fair deal from the city.
97 percent of the Idaho Falls police force signed a petition asking the city to recognize their union.
The council already recognizes the firefighters union and the electrical union in the city, officers say they want the same treatment from Idaho falls.
