BONNEVILLE COUNTY - District No. 93 middle-school students are mourning the loss of a teacher that they remember as a "rockstar" after she died suddenly last week.

Rocky Mountain Middle School 8th grade English teacher Carrie Hogarth died Friday of a blood clot. Counselors have been meeting with students to help with the sudden loss of the popular teacher.

Funeral services start this evening with a viewing Wednesday night at 6:30 at Wood Funeral Home in Idaho Falls on Northridge Ave. The funeral will be Thursday, Sept. 10 at 11 a.m.

The school said students can attend the services and will be excused from school.
