BINGHAM COUNTY - New information concerning the deadly accident on Interstate 15 early Sunday morning shows that Brycen Blackburn, an 18 year old from Idaho Falls, did not die in a rollover crash as originally reported.

Blackburn was driving north in a 1990 Toyota 4-Runner. Idaho State Police said around 4:15 a.m. he went off the left shoulder near Blackfoot, over corrected, then went off the right shoulder, over corrected and then went off the left shoulder again rolling the vehicle.

ISP believes after Blackburn's SUV came to a rest on its top on the southbound median shoulder, he made it out of the vehicle and ended up on the roadway. That's when another car heading south hit him.

From evidence gathered at the crash site, ISP believes the other car involved was a white 1993-1995 Volkswagen Jetta. The Jetta probably has damage to its grill and undercarriage.

Investigators are looking for help to locate the car and driver. People with information can call state police at 208-236-6066.

Blackburn was a recent graduate of Hillcrest High School. Some of his friends started a Facebook group <http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=134089810221> for him. There, they are sharing photos and memories of their friend.

Bonneville School District said they are offering grief counseling to students.
