IDAHO FALLS - Local News 8 has learned the controversial rap group, Insane Clown Posse will NOT be performing in Idaho Falls.

Just one day after a story aired on Local News 8 regarding the efforts of Rocky Mountain Middle School Principal Shalene French to raise awareness of the group's graphic musical content, concert promoter, Adam Slavens of Red Tie Productions decided to cancel the show, according to Vice President of Riverbend Communications, Matt Burgoyne.

Upon hearing of French's efforts, Burgoyne, says he immediately held a meeting with concert promoter Adam Slavens, who also works as a DJ for Riverbend.

Slavens agreed to cancel the show which was scheduled for November 9 at the Old Ernst Building on West Broadway in Idaho Falls.

Local News 8 tried to contact Slavens for comment but have not yet received a response.

Meanwhile, no word has been given regarding refunds for tickets already sold.
