IDAHO FALLS - Idaho Falls School District will hold their second bond proposal informational meeting the evening of Thursday, Nov. 5.
The district is asking for a $84.5 million bond. Parents, as well as the public, are invited to learn more about the proposal at Ethel Boyes Elementary School at 7 p.m.
The district said many of the schools are over 50 years old. They want the money to make improvements and repairs. They want to rebuild four elementary schools they said are energy inefficient and are distracting to students.
The money would also help build a new elementary school.
