SANDPOINT, Idaho (AP) - The Sunshine Kids Center in northern Idaho has closed after 10 months in business.
The day care center described as state of the art and housed in a 12,000-square-foot building closed Thursday.
Pat Amstutz took over the business in June but says the $15,000 monthly lease on the $1.5 million building was too expensive to overcome.
The center had up to 200 children enrolled at its peak and employed more than a dozen part-and full-time workers.
