POCATELLO - After months of having a magistrate judge seat open, the 6th Judicial District has finally filled the empty position.

The new judge is Thomas Clark who has practiced law in Pocatello for 23 years.

He beat out 14 other applicants vying for this position.

We spoke with Clark on Friday, he said he is certainly thrilled and honored to have this opportunity.

He'll take the judgeship by January 4th.
